David Gaffney - Grants for the Arts 2016

David Gaffney came to talk to us about Arts Council England and how you can apply for funding from them. 

Arts Council England funds:

• Individuals
• Organisations
• People who use the arts in their work

And it covers most things that you can think of, as long as it benefits people in England and helps artists and arts organisations.You can apply for funding on the Arts Council website, you must fill out a form and give information relating to:

• Artistic Quality - What you have done before and how the project will help your working practice?
• Public Engagement - Who is the audience and how will you reach them?
• Finance - Does the budget balance?
• Management - Is it doable and do you have enough time?

This talk made me think about possible projects I could do and if I could apply for funding.
